Bihar CM Nitish Kumar reviewing the rising trend of water level in the Ganga river near Patna. Description

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday reviewed the rising trend of water level in the Ganga river near Patna and directed officials to take precautionary measures.

The CM visited the Ganga riverfront in Patna and held a meeting with senior officials of the Water Resources Department. He was apprised of the latest situation and the measures being taken to prevent flooding.

Kumar directed the officials to keep a close watch on the water level and take all necessary steps to protect the people living in the low-lying areas. He also asked them to ensure that the dredging work is carried out properly to facilitate the smooth flow of water.

The Ganga river has been flowing above the danger mark in some areas of Bihar. The water level is expected to rise further in the coming days due to heavy rains in the catchment areas.

The CM has asked the officials to make arrangements for the safe evacuation of people from the flood-prone areas. He has also directed them to provide relief and rehabilitation to the affected people.

The rising water level in the Ganga river has also affected the movement of trains and boats in Patna. The Patna Municipal Corporation has deployed boats to evacuate people from the low-lying areas.

The Bihar government has set up control rooms in all the districts to monitor the situation. The officials have been asked to remain on alert and take all necessary measures to prevent any loss of life or property.

‘Dark Parle-G’ memes are going viral on social media. However, there is no information regarding ‘Dark Parle-G’ on the social media accounts of Parle Products and neither has the company reacted to the viral picture of the biscuit packet.

Amid the grand Ambani bash over the weekend, and Instagram and Facebook facing a global outage on March 5, social media users kept themselves busy over a picture of Parle-G biscuits. Make no mistake, because this isn’t the original packet that has sent the internet into overdrive, but a viral picture of ‘Dark Parle-G’ biscuits.

To begin with, this packet of ‘Dark Parle-G’, in all probability, could be AI-generated because Parle has not confirmed the authenticity of the product. There is no information regarding ‘Dark Parle-G’ on the social media accounts of Parle Products and neither has the company reacted to the viral picture.
